Stories behind

It means "God wind" or "divine wind". It is suicide attacks by Japanese army. The long story is available in http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kamikaze. Why this cocktail has this name. I guess the mix should be "attached" in the summer. This cocktail has similar name with American Kamikaze, but totally different ingredients. You may give different name, upgrade the ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 2 pcs Ice cubes
  • 2 ounce super dry sake
  • 2 ounce plum wine

How to make

Full the shaker with ice cube. Put all ingredients together and shake hard very short time. Pour on ANY glass. Simple.

Garnished

Lime wedge or plum pickles.

Tips and comment

  • The more dry the sake, the better the taste.
  • Splash soda might be good. If so, use the tall glass.
  • Some restaurant put a shot of midori or splash blue curacao for the coloring.
